Alba Regia was the Roman name of the Hungarian town Székesfehérvár, the birthplace of the second discoverer. Inhabited since the fifth century B.C., in the Middle Ages the city was a royal residence and the most important city in Hungary. Nowadays it is an industrial and cultural center with a population of around 110 000.
