Bistar is the name of the astronomical observatory at Hanadate Nature Park in Hitachiomiya city, Ibaraki prefecture. Volunteers conduct stargazing parties at the observatory. In addition, the Mt. Hanadate Star Festival has been held there each summer since 1991.
