Manfred Hausmann (1898–1986), who was born in Kassel and died in Bremen, lived for many years in Worpswede {see planet  (9742)} and wrote lyrical poetry, stories and novels. Widely traveled, he studied distant cultures and translated their works. After 1945 he turned to christianity and became a preacher. (M 42364) _ _.
