Tibor Hegedüs (b. 1961) is a Hungarian physicist, astronomer, IAU member and director of Baja Astronomical Observatory. Active in popularization and education of astronomy, he played a key role in improving the connection between professional and amateur astronomers throughout the world. Name suggested by S. Kürti.
