Damir Šegon (b. 1962) has been a dedicated amateur meteor astronomer and mentor for more than three decades. He serves as Secretary of the Astronomical Society “Istra” Pula, Croatia and coordinates the Croatian Meteor Network's database of meteoroid orbital elements.
