Vasilij G. Chiorny (b. 1953) is a prolific asteroid photometrist at the Kharkiv Observatory. He is the principal discoverer of one binary asteroid and co-discoverer of several others, using the photometry technique. He has co-authored a number of papers on binary and other asteroids.
