Chariklo, sometimes described as a sea nymph, sometimes as a female centaur, was the wife of Chiron {see planet  (2060)}. Together they are are said to have had as many as five children, and she is also sometimes said to have been the mother of Tiresias, the famous seer. (M 36129) _ _.
