Belgian amateur astronomer Frank Tamsin (b. 1964) has been editor of the Belgian astronomical magazine Heelal since 1998. He is also the secretary general of the Flemish Amateur Astronomers Association and the public observatory Beisbroek in Bruges. The name was suggested by S. De Jonge, C. Steyaert and J. Meeus.
