Part of the Ashizuri-Uwakai National Park, Nametoko Ravine is located in the south of Ehime prefecture. It is famous for its extremely smooth and large riverbed rocks. The Yukiwano-taki waterfall in the ravine is one of the best 100 waterfalls in Japan, known collectively as “Nihon Hyaku Meibaku”.
