Tillmann Mohr (b. 1940) was president of the Deutscher Wetterdienst (1992-1995) and director-general of EUMETSAT since 1995. He played an important role in the ESA project which led to the Meteosat system and has been associated with EUMETSAT from when it was first conceived by European meteorologists.
