Japanese amateur astronomer Mitsugu Komatsubara (b. 1953) is a reporter who has frequently covered astronomy and space development. Together with Tomohisa Ohno, he recently rehabilitated the late comet and nova hunter Minoru Honda's observatory “Seijin-Sanso”.
